The League of Women Voters of California has produced Smart Voter as a public service for each November and primary election since 1997. We also cover local elections throughout the year as funds and volunteers become available. See "About Smart Voter" for more information.

We have served Ohio since November 1998 and have expanded to support other states since 2006: Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, and Pennsylvania.

We plan to continue providing this service to voters and candidates in the future with functional and operational enhancements.
