		REGISTER to VOTE You must have registered by October 20 to vote on November 4. Call (805) 568-2200 for questions about voting or to determine your voter registration status. Download a registration form - Available in English and Spanish (pick county and correct language bottom right hand corner) - From the Secretary of State Fill out the Online Registration Form from the Secretary of State. See Voter Registration in California from the League of Women Voters. ELECTION RESULTS Most election results are posted on SmartVoter. For close races (such as State Senator, 19th District - Jackson and Strickland) look for the most up-to-date information at SB County Elections Office or California Secretary of State - results are posted under "My Vote" (upper left corner) VOTING INFORMATION Early voting is available at the County Elections Offices in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, and Lompoc. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. M-F, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. Remember that absentee (Vote-by-Mail or VBM) ballots must be RECEIVED before the polls close (postmarks don't count). If you are registered in Santa Barbara County, you may return your VBM ballot, in its envelop, to any polling place in the county. If you're registered in another county, it must be returned TO THAT COUNTY.
