Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Scott William Rostoni

Candidate for
Board Member; Waugh School District

This information is provided by the candidate

Whether at work, volunteering, or partnering with community members, the thing I value most is open communication. It is important that all stake holders, students, parents, board members, and our surrounding community are aware of issues facing the district. My goal is to increase public participation in school governance and to increase the opportunity for dialogue between the board and those it represents. I hold as a core value, the need to make timely, well informed decisions based on thorough research and broad input. I believe this model offers our schools the best possible conditions for operating at their peak level of performance. I look forward to having the opportunity to help our school district through the transition to Common Core and supporting our teachers and faculty as they prepare our children for the future.

Thank you for your interest in my campaign.
