District Justice; Magisterial District Court; District 32-2-38; Democratic, Republican Party

This information is provided by the candidate

My name is Joe McIntosh, and I am a candidate for the office of Magisterial District Judge of District 32-2-38. This District comprises Aston Township, Chester Heights Borough, and the 3rd and 4th Wards of Upper Chichester.

I am a practicing attorney with my own office in Media, PA. Licensed in Pennsylvania, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, U.S. Court of International Trade, U.S. Court of Appeals Federal Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court, I am seeking the opportunity to use my multiple law degrees and career of experience as an attorney to serve the members of our community.

Since 2004, I have served as a councilman in Chester Heights due to fiscal discipline and good government; we have not had to raise taxes in over 40 years. Previously, I have volunteered for the Sixty-Plus Elder Law Clinic and represented clients on a pro bono basis. Additionally, I have been appointed by the Court to represent numerous criminal defendants.

Over my career, I have practiced before every Magisterial District Judge in Delaware County, served on the Magisterial District Judge Committee for over a decade, litigated civil, criminal, domestic and estate cases in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, represented clients in Federal Court and argued before the Superior Court.

As a lifelong resident of Delaware County, I am a devoted servant of my community and want to continue to serve the residents of Aston, Chester Heights, and Upper Chichester as your District Justice.
