Member of the City Council; City of Avalon

I've been a long time visitor to the Island, an owner/resident since 1998, and have spent at least 9 months out of the year here for the last 4 years.

I am a mother of 5 and grandmother of 13.

I am a retired Sales Manager of an Optical Mfg. Co. where I trained a sales force as well as holding my own territory.

I then shifted my focus to golf, which has been my passion for many years. I hold many Club Championships and had the honor of playing in the U.S. Senior Amateur.

Locally, I had been V.P. of the California Art Association for 5 years and I've coached the girl's High School Golf Team for 4 years. I also volunteer for many organizations for different events they put on throughout the year.

There are many issues that need discussing, but we need to put attention to what is listed as one of the worst California beaches.

I also look forward to being involved in discussions with Edison in this time of rising costs of water and utilities.

I think for myself, I am a leader, and I am open to new ideas and possibilities that will help make our town thrive.
