  • Occupation: Commander, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department
  • Over 32 years of law enforcement experience at all rank levels
  • Currently supervise and responsible for nearly 2,000 patrol and detective personnel who work some of the toughest beats in America
  • Responsible for management of a budget in excess of $200 million dollars
  • Earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from California State University at Los Angeles
  • Earned a Masters of Arts Degree in Communication from Pepperdine University
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Improving and enhancing public safety and homeland security, the reduction of gangs and gang activity, and reducing the number of guns on the streets
  • Protecting our children from sexual exploitation and predators through enhanced inter-agency law enforcement cooperation and the sharing of resources
  • Improving the delivery of law enforcement services to all communities in Orange County
