Questions & Answers

1. Why are you running for Superior Court Judge?

As a judge, I believe I can make a positive contribution to our community by being mindful of victims' rights and by applying the law in a fair and impartial manner.

2. What are the personal qualities which best equip you to serve as a judge?

The depth and breadth of my legal background qualify me for this position. I have been practicing law for 24 years. For the past 19 years, as a deputy district attorney, I have prosecuted over 100 felony jury trials to verdict. I have argued complex civil cases as an appellate attorney and civil litigator. As an adjunct law professor, I have taught both civil and criminal law subjects.

During my career as a criminal prosecutor, I have sought justice for the people of Los Angeles County. As a judge, I will impose tough sentences on violent criminals and strive to insure a just result in all cases.
