Candidate for
Mayor; City of Carson

This information is provided by the candidate

Out of concern for our community, I have decided to run for Mayor of Carson. I am capable of providing leadership, having maintained good conduct in my professional and personal life, and possess the kow-how to help our City regain its good standing and public image.

Today, our community has expressed its sincerest desire for a "fresh start" in the area of City government. I will have to agree with the local news editorials which advocates a new leader with strong moral character. It is evident that this solution could not be wisely fulfilled if the "musical-chair type" of leadership change is adopted.

I stepped in to offer our community the right of choice. Bear in mind that this leadership chaos did not occur overnight. The system of checks and balances were abandoned, as well as adherence to the City Ethics Rules. Our city administrators have honest intentions, to begin with but failed under intense pressure as some of the colleagues did not exercise the necessary checks and balances.

If you will entrust to me the Mayor's Post, I will reform/change those wrong practices. I will propose to:

a. Mandate that political contributions to and spending by Carson City candidates be reduced to a fair limit.

b. Strict implementation of the Carson City Ethics Code.

c. Keep businesses/professional sports come to Carson to provide revenues and jobs.
