Education calls for resources - not platitudes

George Bush and the right talk big when it comes to education - but they put their money where their mouths are.
"Leave no Child Behind" is the kind of sound bite an Ad man would be proud of. But when the bells and whistles stop clanging, it is just that - a sound bite. Educating our children takes more than just slogans. It will take a committment of resources and energy that this administration and our new governor won't even entertain. I say, Tax the Rich FAIRLY, and support our schools with more than patriotic slogans.
