Bill Hartge has extensive experience in local government engineering in a variety of fields, with several years as an engineer with the Orange County Flood Control District, and service as a Field Engineer for the United Water Conservation District in Ventura County.

Since 1984, Bill has been an elected Director of the Municipal Water District of Orange County. He has an extensive engineering background, coupled with general administration experience and is a registered Civil Engineer in California.

Bill understands that water today is more crucial to Southern California than ever before, between retaining its water rights on the Colorado River and preventing more reductions in water supply from the Delta in Northern California. During his more than 30 years of experience in water management, he has successfully fought to keep the water quality in Orange County the best in the nation and the quantity of water sufficient to serve the needs of the area. He would like to continue to serve the cities of Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa, as he has in the past and would very much appreciate your vote in November to continue to serve this District during this crucial time.
