Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Wes Bannister

Candidate for
Director; Orange County Water District; Division 6

This information is provided by the candidate

Water has been and will continue to be the most important resource in Southern California. We live in a desert and we must protect our water supply to keep it safe, clean and plentiful. Too few people realize just how critical our water supply is to our way of life.

In the time I have served on the OCWD Board, I have seen tremendous growth in both the population and economy of our area. I have also seen pollution grow as a major concern of our citizens. All of us have heard of the threats to our supplies from MTBE, metals and waste. We must prevent further loss of our water supply.

I will work to keep our water supply safe and I will fight pollution of our water source. And I will do all in my power to be certain that you have good, clean water.

New projects to increase supply are being planned. I will support those that are safe and economical. Thank you.
